The following list is a whitelist of software I approve and use (in some cases) for use with Windows XP. Some of this software will work with Vista or 7, as I don't use either, YMMV if you use either. Everything in this list is FREE unless otherwise stated. Also, I apologize if any fellow techs or friends have heard a lot of this before, this is meant as a reference document for those who haven't, and I'm open to commentary on it.

In other news, I finally bought my own copy of Fight Club. The book. I also got Choke ALSO by Chuck Palahniuk cuz I love the guy's writing. Re-reading Fight Club, will read Choke later. ... Now I'm curious to see if our Fight Club movie will work on my laptop. Mom and Dad SAID this thing plays movies...

The Nostalgia Critic reviews Ernest Saves Christmas, starring the late Jim Varney.

I always liked Ernest movies. Although I only watched Saves Christmas only once, so I don't have as good a memory of it as I do with Scared Stupid, Goes to Camp, Goes to Jail, and Rides Again.

I also had a VHS tape of a few episodes of his old variety show Hey Vern! It's Ernest! ages ago. Too bad my VCR don't work anymore.

But regardless, as stupid as the Critic makes it out to be, even HE can't bring down the comedic value of Ernest. So that's refreshing to see.

In other news, I never mentioned this but I got Pip a copy of Batman: Arkham Asylum for his PS3. And I can't keep myself away from it. IT'S THAT ADDICTING.

Nightmares suck. :/

...apparently everybody! Sometimes when something on Twitter of Facebook that is said by one of my friends is news to me, the response is always the same: "I said this on my Livejournal!" And me myself, well...while it's nice to say what I want is mall, quick little bursts, sometimes there is too much to say that 140 or 420 characters will allow. So since I've disabled the posting of my Twitter tweets to the journal, and need some way to keep up with all my friends whom I care for VEDDY MUCH, I want to go at least a post a day and looking at the first fifty friends entries on my Friends list. Unless one of you posts like a goddamn fiend, I'm bound to interact with a great load of you that way.

It's been almost 24 hours and my hand still smells like onions.

That's what sucks about cooking, your hand gets infused with smells of stuff that you cook. Usually stuff you fry up.

I think the smell of onions have overpowered the smell of the bacon I cooked this morning. I've washed and washed but the fucking smell still stays!

Haven't used this in a while. I read almost everything (almost) that you guys put up, but I guess, in the end, I just don't feel like I'm interesting enough to warrant saying anything about myself. But I guess that's what LJ is for to begin with.

I've been doing good lately. I've for the most part shaken out of the funk I spent all of November in. Christmas has a way of cheering me up like that. But mostly it was my trip to California!

I'm the fat guy. And keep an eye out for Teeks, who's easy to spot because he's the one wearing the dorkiest clothes in any given picture.

Anyway, the trip really re-energized me. These are the people I love, and not having seen them in a year and a half was taking its toll on me. I'm doing a lot better now. 

I guess that's it. I sat down thinking this was gonna be a big diarrhea of thoughts, but I guess I don't have that much going on right now.

All the hoopla of moving my external drive around has somehow broken all my torrents.

uTorrent can't tell that their in the same place as always, and restarted everything.

Hum. I glanced at "Eon's Comic" in a fit of randomness, and thought I saw a precursor mention that could've spelled an unfortunate reappearance of my character.

Thankfully, a quick archive skim says I was apparantly written out in the same ham-fisted, un-edited, un-contacted, dubiously written, wildly off-base and out-of-character manner as all my other appearances.

So that's good, I guess?

I still worry that cast page will eventually re-appear and I'll have to re-write my entry (again) for it to retain anything but the barest of relevence and factuality.
